Terms & Conditions

This site exists to show our work, to make our press materials available to festivals and press, to explain the Christian Filmmakers Guild, and to let people get in touch with us.

Nothing on this site is an offer to enter into a contract, a quote, or a promise of availability. Any project we take on is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties, and where those terms conflict with anything here, the signed agreement wins.

This one is a permission rather than a restriction, and it is here to make your job easier.

Festival programmers, journalists, critics, bloggers, and podcasters may use the stills, posters, loglines, synopses, and credits published in our press kit for editorial and promotional coverage of the film, without asking us first, provided the material is not altered beyond cropping and colour correction for layout, the film and its credits are identified accurately, and the material is not used to promote anything other than coverage of or a screening of the film.

Anything beyond that, including merchandise, advertising for another product, training data, or use of the film itself rather than the press materials, needs our written permission. Write to us and we will usually say yes.

Please read this section before sending us anything.

We are a production company, and we develop our own material. It happens that an idea somebody sends us resembles something we are already working on or go on to make independently. To keep that from becoming a dispute, the following applies to anything you send us that we did not specifically request.

Anything you send through this site or by email, including ideas, concepts, scripts, treatments, loglines, characters, footage, and suggestions, is sent on a non-confidential and non-obligatory basis. We are not obliged to keep it confidential, to review it, to return it, or to pay for it.

You confirm that you have the right to send us what you send. You agree that we are free to develop, produce, and distribute material that may be similar in theme, subject, or idea, and that we owe you nothing for doing so.

This does not apply to material exchanged under a signed agreement, and it does not apply to work you were engaged by us to produce.

If you have something you genuinely need protected, do not send it through the form. Email us first and we will set up the right arrangement.

You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a rate that burdens it, or use it to send anything unlawful, threatening, or abusive.

You also agree not to use the site or any material on it to train a machine learning model without our written permission.

This site links to other sites, and embeds players from Spotify and Apple Music. We do not control any of those and we are not responsible for their content or their practices. Their terms apply when you are there.

The site is provided as is. We take reasonable care with it, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that everything on it is current. Screening dates, statuses, and availability change.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express and implied.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this site, and our total liability in connection with the site will not exceed one hundred dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated version.
